Cecilia became a Foundation Governor in December 2018. She is a Higher Education Development Manager at Newcastle College University Centre with a specific remit on Academic Operations.
She was licensed as a Reader at Gosforth Parish Church of St Nicholas in 2015 and leads the Newcastle Diocesan Readers’ Recruitment and Selection Committee. She is also Chaplain at Lindisfarne College of Theology.
Cecilia moved to Newcastle from Oxfordshire in 1995 to study Fine Art and Art History at Northumbria University and has worshipped at Gosforth Parish Church of St Nicholas ever since. She completed her PhD at Northumbria in 2005 and has recently completed a BA in Theology, Ministry and Mission through Lindisfarne College of Theology and Durham University.
