Data Protection

Archbishop Runcie First School are data controllers for the purposes of the Data Protection Act.

The purpose of our Data Protection Policy is to set out how we protect the personal data that we hold in relation to pupils, parents, staff, job applicants, directors/trustees, local governors and customers and how we deal with requests in relation to that data.

 
Privacy notices are the information we provide to people about how and why we process their personal data.
 
Archbishop Runcie First School hold various privacy notices which are available on request. These include:
  • pupils and parents/carers
  • volunteers and governors
  • job applicants
  • surveillance systems (e-monitoring)
Additional privacy notices may be provided from time to time when data subjects need specific information about how personal data will be processed e.g. school trips, projects.
 
Information policy

This policy is to ensure that Archbishop Runcie First School complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation, Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR) and Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), associated guidance and Codes of Practice issued under the legislation.
