Lonie was co-opted as Governor in October 2022 and attends the Finance, Staffing, and Premises committee. She recently moved to Newcastle and works as a Technical Consultant following studies in Business and Computer Science culminating in a PhD in Cyber Security.
Lonie has worked as a Treasurer for various student organisations, taken on several pastoral roles for fellow postgraduate researchers, and recently completed a year as a secondary school teacher. She is now eager to bring her academic and industry experience to Archbishop Runcie First School and work alongside staff, parents, pupils, and governors to enable pupils and the wider community to flourish.
