Revd Canon Andrew Shipton

Andrew became a Governor in September 2014.  Before becoming Vicar of Gosforth, All Saints’, he was Team Rector of Christ the King, in Newcastle, and leader of the Diocesan Youth Team.  He was, for 10 years, chaplain to Northumbria University and, during this time, completed research degrees (M.Ed and M.Phil) in educational development.  In addition to being Vicar of All Saints, he became Priest in Charge of St Hugh's Gosforth in 2017.  His three children all attended the School, serves as the Governor responsible for Safeguarding and chairs the Ethos Committee.
