New School Rules!
15th March 2018
Our school rules help us to learn and grow together as Jesus would want us to:
- We take care of and respect each other’s property and the environment.
- We are kind and caring to everyone, listening to each other.
- We are always polite, saying please and thank you.
- We move around the school safely and quietly.
- We always try our best.
Galatians 5 v 22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Steps to help us follow our school rules and learn happily and safely together:
A REMINDER - If someone breaks a school rule a reminder will be given about the rule, why it is needed and how to put it right.
A WARNING - If someone breaks a school rule again a warning will be given that if they break the school rule again they will miss some of their playtime to think about what they have done and how they can put it right.
MISSED PLAYTIME AND WARNING – If someone breaks a school rule again they will miss some of their playtime to think about what they have done and how they can put it right. They will be warned if it happens again in one week they will lose a golden time as well as part of their playtime.
MISSED PLAYTIME, GOLDEN TIME AND WARNING - If someone continues to break a school rule twice in one week they will miss part of their playtimes and their golden time. The head teacher and parents will be told if a golden time is missed.
MEETING WITH HEADTEACHER AND PARENTS – if someone continues to break the school rules there will be a meeting with the Headteacher and parents to agree a plan to help.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
